My name is Yuji Wabe. I was born in Tokyo Japan in 1955. I was interested in salmon fly by the book published in 1997 (Rare and Unusual Fly Tying Materials: A Natural History, Volume 1 - Birds). But in earnest in 2015 I only started classic salmon fly tying three years ago. I also started hook remake together and recently finish with baked lacquer. I'm really honored. I'm nervous but I hope to be able to enjoy myself.
